STRATEGY/PLANNING MEETINGS

Strategy Planning Meetings

Many small charities and fundraisers struggle to access the expertise they need to develop their fundraising strategy and reach their full potential. Having an experienced professional to talk to—someone who understands your challenges and can provide practical, tailored advice—can make all the difference.

Our Strategy & Planning Meetings provide dedicated one-on-one time to discuss the key issues affecting your organisation’s fundraising efforts. Whether you’re looking for guidance on Fundraising Strategy, Corporate partnerships or Bid Writing, these sessions are designed to help you find clarity and direction.

What’s Included?

  • A 2-hour session
  • A virtual one-to-one consultation with an experienced fundraising professional.
  • Tailored discussions based on your organisation’s needs—topics can include staffing, fundraising planning, time management, governance, finance, writing stronger applications, developing fundable projects, and creating realistic budgets.
  • Immediate feedback, practical advice, and encouragement to ensure you leave with actionable next steps.
  • A follow-up summary report (1–2 pages) outlining key discussions, strengths and weaknesses identified, and recommended next steps.

These meetings are ideal whether you want ongoing support or a one-off session to build confidence and tackle fundraising challenges independently.

Ongoing Support

For ongoing, more in-depth support, we offer the following:

  • Fundraising Manager (Phoenix Humphreys): £200 per 8-hour day
    With extensive experience in securing funding, I provide full support in developing strategies, writing grant applications, and managing fundraising activities.
  • Fundraising Assistant (Summer Greenwood): £120 per 8-hour day
    Specialising in research and letter applications, our Fundraising Assistant is available for dedicated support. She is undergoing continual training at Raise to Rise, with the goal of advancing to a Fundraising Manager role in the future.

HENRY SMITH

Typically, this application spans approximately five days of work. Three days are dedicated to research and crafting the initial draft. Following this, one day is allocated for reviewing the draft with the client and implementing any necessary revisions. Another day is reserved for the final review session with the client, incorporating any last-minute adjustments.

Completing these applications would typically require around 4 days of work. Two days are dedicated to research and initial application, followed by one day for subsequent applications. CASE FOR SUPPORT

Case for supportThe document will span 4-5 pages, subject to the client’s ongoing projects. If requested this can include graphics but any pictures will need to be provided. Preparation time is estimated at 1-2 days, involving an initial client meeting for information handover and a final read-through with the client for any necessary amendments.
